A newborn festival for spanish films in Berlin, thanks to Santiago Gómez Rojas. A new reason to visit a “Kino” and a new way of feeling a little bit more at home.

Dates: 6th November 2012 to: 11th November 2012
Place: Cinema Moviemento
Web: http://www.berlinspanischesfilmfest.com

This Sunday we’ll head to Berlin’s oldest cinema (and probably, webpage also) to watch Daniel Brühl starring in Kike Maíllo’s Eva (wonderful opening credits by Dvein, by the way).

The focus of the festival is not the competitive spirit but the promotion of current Spanish cinema in all its diverse forms and genres. In this sense, the organizers have called in new Spanish films, directors and young actors (thank god) and there is no prize giving.

Here’s the program (click to enlarge):

You can stay tuned in Cero Television and check here for other Film Festivals in Berlin.
